From the booking we were pleasantly surprised with the complete and regular contact by Riverside Lodge via whatsapp. What was very noticeable to us was the greatest attention to even the smallest detail. The host and hostess were very friendly and helpful. The historic house is furnished in such a way that it compliments the whole atmosphere. It is safe and everything was clean and tidy.

It is conveniently located within the town, but once you're inside the gate, you'd never guess you were in town. What a hospitable reception!. I want to go back to sit on the swinging bench by the river and enjoy the birds. The room is beautiful and has everything I needed.

What a lovely guesthouse. Albert and Elza are friendly, professional owners and the love for the industry they are in can be seen in the details of the guest house and outside area. No effort has been spared for what is needed during your stay, a home away from home. Breakfast is amazing with a great variety. This guest house is highly recommended and we would love to stay here again.

Our stay at Riverside Guest Lodge will stay with us for a long time. Albert and Elsa are extremely professional and dedicated and leave no detail unturned to make their guests feel comfortable and pampered. The site is beautifully laid out with beautiful views and fantastic facilities. The log cabin was vivid and very well equipped, and spotlessly clean. Little details like the welcome drink and cold water delivered to our door made us feel extra special! We can recommend Riverside Guest Lodge to anyone with an open mind. Excellent value for money!

4 of us stayed in the treehouse. It isn't so much a treehouse as a cabin on a cliff. But it is charming - looks rustic but has plenty of amenities. nnThe one drawback was the pool. It was about the size of a hot tub, which is fine. But it was not cleaned so we were unable to use it. The rest of the facilities, including the cabin were spotless.
Delicious breakfast. Warm welcome and great service! Lovely rustic feel and well equipped accommodation - we had everything we needed and it was great being within walking distance of restaurants on High Street.
